Summary

this is actually insane。 i need more？ this book gave me whiplash in the best way possible？ but also i was extremely stressed？ so maybe not the best？ but i loved and lived for the drama！ buyin the physical copy & annotating it， this one hurt。 cried a few times just because i could relate。 not ashamed。 although i probably should be。

5 STARS - This book is a chaotic， toxic mess… but in the best way possible。 This book is an emotional rollercoaster- it had me clutching at my heart strings， but also laughing out loud。 Hastings encapsulates perfectly how your first love can both be the best， yet most painful thing we endure。 On a separate note - I hate BJ Ballentine but I am also hopelessly in love with BJ Ballentine。

I can’t rate this cause like it was so fucked up。 I hated it but I also loved it。 The drama was so bad and so good。 The characters were horrible people like oh my god， but BJ really takes that horribleness to another level like literally how am I supposed to root for him when he’s disgusting， I wish him the worst。 But over all I recommend if you’re looking for a super dramatic book with a toxic couple for when it’s 3am and you want drama in your life。

I went into this book not expecting a great love Story， I only wanted to be entertained。And I was for the first 200 pages。 BJs and Magnolias relationship is the prime example of toxic codependecy but they know that。 It’s really repetitive but it’s supposed to be。But the last few chapters were so badly written， the Plot twists made no sense for the characters and Toms behaviour in before that also threw me off because it did Not fit him， if he was the person he is described as。
